“I am incredibly grateful to be elected your 2024 Chair of the Board,” said Walker in a message to NAIOP members. “As we look ahead into 2024, NAIOP will continue to be the leading organization to provide the research, knowledge and the education to ensure our members have access to everything they need to succeed."
Walker is president of Burns Scalo Real Estate, where he leads the organization's high-growth-focused mission with an eye on national exposure and expansion. One of the largest fully integrated professional real estate firms in Western Pennsylvania, Burns Scalo has subsidiaries specializing in investment, brokerage, development, construction and management of more than five million square feet of commercial real estate assets.
A 19-year member of NAIOP, Walker has served on the NAIOP Corporate Board and has been active in the NAIOP Pittsburgh chapter. Prior to joining Burns Scalo, Walker served as chief financial officer and executive vice president with Piatt Companies, formerly known as Millcraft Investments, for nearly 18 years. He is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
