NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, has recognized Ryan Woods, associate principal, commercial practice leader, Beck Group, with its prestigious 2023 Developing Leaders Award.
“Ryan Woods stands apart for the vision, leadership and dedication he brings to NAIOP and commercial real estate,” said Marc Selvitelli, CAE, president and CEO of NAIOP. “We are pleased to recognize his accomplishments and work in creating vibrant communities in which to work, live and play. Woods’ skills and passion for design have afforded him the opportunity to lead the design on a variety of different project types including retail, mixed-use, sports, office, hospitality and healthcare. His portfolio includes the award-winning Hub at Peachtree Center, Lenox Mall and the redevelopment of Simon Property Group’s Phipps Plaza. Prior to joining Beck Group, he was a key member of the design team for the new Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Woods is involved with NAIOP Georgia and has served in several leadership roles with the chapter including on the board of directors, executive committee and future leaders’ executive board. NAIOP Georgia recognized Woods with the Rising Star Award in 2020 and presented Beck Group with the Associate Firm of the Year Award in 2019. He holds a master’s degree in architecture from Clemson University.
One of five young professionals to receive NAIOP’s honor this year, Woods was honored during an awards ceremony on Thursday, Oct. 19, at NAIOP's CRE.Converge 2023 conference in Seattle.
Established in 2006, the Developing Leaders Award is given to young industry professionals from across NAIOP’s chapter network in all sectors of commercial real estate. The annual award honors exceptional professionals under the age of 35 for their remarkable professional accomplishments, strong leadership and significant community involvement.
