Additional options for elevating your conference experience. Project tours give you an up-close look at commercial real estate in the Boston area. Add a tour when you complete your registration.
Already registered? Follow these steps to add or change a tour:
- Visit the My Event Registrations page.
- Follow the prompts to sign in to your NAIOP account if you haven't already signed in.
- Under "Registrations for Upcoming Events," find National Forums Symposium 2023 and click "Edit."
- Select "EDIT SESSIONS." Scroll down to find the tours and/or workshops you'd like to register for and click the check box next to each. Once finished, select "REVIEW SESSION CHANGES" at the bottom of the screen.
- Follow the prompts to check out and complete your registration.

The Epicenter of Tech and Life Sciences

Discover innovative office and lab space near MIT in the Cambridge area - the epicenter of tech and life sciences in the region. At 40 Thorndike in East Cambridge, a decommissioned 1970s-era courthouse is being transformed into an innovative mixed-use project. The project, expected to deliver in the first quarter of 2024, will include 422,000 square feet of office and R&D space, 48 units of inclusionary rental housing, ground floor retail, childcare and conference space. Next, visit Boynton Yards, a 1.8 million-square-foot life science and innovation community in Somerville, Massachusetts, less than a mile from Kendall Square, the world's preeminent biotech supercluster. Boynton Yards is an approved multiphase master plan offering four purpose-built lab buildings, a cultural center and mixed use/residential buildings with creative programming and amenities. We will tour 101 South Street at Boynton Yards, a completed lab building leased and occupied by four life science companies founded by Flagship Pioneering.

Boston Scientific Global Distribution Center Tour - FULL

Explore the global distribution center for world-renowned medical devices manufacturer Boston Scientific on Quincy’s Squantum Point, overlooking Boston Harbor. Built to LEED Gold sustainability standards, the 694,000-square-foot center is set in a fully renovated warehouse and contains 64,000 square feet of office space and a 630,000-square-foot global customer fulfillment center. Get a close-up view of state-of-the-art features such as a new glass curtain wall, 2.5 miles of high-efficiency “smart technology” conveyor with a high-speed sortation system, a waterfront roof terrace with outdoor casual seating, and conference spaces offering stunning views of Downtown Boston.

Join your colleagues for an exciting afternoon in Boston’s booming Seaport District, also known as the Innovation District. Stops on this tour include Boston’s newest development: 10 World Trade. This 17-story, 555,250-square-foot tower is comprised of premier research and development space that is supported by world-class amenities; it is scheduled for delivery in Q4 of 2024. You will also view the in-progress revitalization of historic Commonwealth Pier featuring extensive public spaces, a new waterfront public plaza, new retail, office and event spaces; it is also set to deliver in 2024.
