NAIOP Research Foundation Announces Appointment of Three New Governors

The NAIOP Research Foundation announces the appointment of three new Governors to join the Foundation’s 66 Governors. Individuals who demonstrate their commitment to the Foundation’s mission by making a substantial contribution to its endowment fund are invited to accept this lifetime distinction. The new Governors will be inducted at NAIOP’s CRE.Converge conference in October.

The Research Foundation Governor inductees are:

Lewis Agnew
Lewis Agnew, CCIM, president, Charles Hawkins Co., Nashville, Tennessee, NAIOP Nashville.
Lex Rickenbaker
Lex Rickenbaker, executive director – investments, USAA Real Estate Company, Atlanta, Georgia, NAIOP Georgia.
Colleen Wevodau
Colleen Wevodau, partner, Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP, Vienna, Virginia, NAIOP Northern Virginia.

These three new governors all began their affiliation with the Research Foundation as Visionaries, a program that engages a select group of the industry’s rising leaders with the work of the Foundation and with its Governors. As a Visionary, each participated in Foundation meetings and enjoyed mentorship by seasoned industry leaders. Now, as Governors, they’ll have the opportunity to deepen their engagement, continue sharing their thought leadership, and lend their expertise and experience to inform the Foundation's research development process.

"It was our hope in establishing the Visionaries program that these rising industry leaders would not only make meaningful contributions to the Foundation through their perspective and expertise, but that they would one day become Governors themselves. I am exceptionally pleased that these three individuals, all part of our inaugural cohort of Visionaries, elected to become Governors," said Marc Selvitelli, CAE, executive director of the NAIOP Research Foundation. "Their industry experience and involvement the past three years as Visionaries make them outstanding additions to an already impressive groups of Research Foundation Governors."
