NAIOP Research Foundation Announces Appointment of 71st Governor

Kate Nolan Bryden, MRP Industrial, accepts lifetime distinction

August 04, 2020

The NAIOP Research Foundation announces the appointment of Kate Nolan Bryden to join the Foundation’s Governors. Individuals who demonstrate their commitment to the Foundation’s mission by making a substantial contribution to its endowment fund are invited to accept this lifetime distinction. Bryden will be honored at NAIOP’s CRE.Converge Virtual conference, October 7-8, 2020.

Bryden is the vice president of development for MRP Industrial in Baltimore, Maryland, and has overseen the development of nearly 4 million square feet of industrial, flex, office and retail projects. Bryden is primarily responsible for acquisition support, due diligence, entitlement procurement, and also overseeing the design and construction of projects in Pennsylvania, Maryland and Virginia. Prior to joining MRP Industrial, she was the principal of AMK Partners, a certified woman-owned business that provided third party owner’s representation and development management of light industrial projects for private and institutional developers.

Bryden began her affiliation with the NAIOP Research Foundation as a Visionary, a select group of the industry’s rising leaders who are engaged with the work of the Foundation and with its Governors. As a Visionary, she participated in Foundation meetings and enjoyed mentorship by seasoned industry leaders. Now, as a Governor, she’ll have the opportunity to deepen her engagement, continue contributing thought leadership, and lend her expertise and experience to inform the Foundation’s research development process.

Bryden serves as vice chair of the NAIOP Corporate education committee, chair of the CRE.Converge Virtual 2020 planning committee, is a member of the NAIOP Executive Committee, and is a member and former chair of the Deal & Investment National Forum. She was recognized with the NAIOP Developing Leader Award in 2018.

“The Research Foundation and its Governors play a vital role in providing resources to shape our communities, and I’m pleased to recognize Kate as our 71st Governor.” said Marc Selvitelli, CAE, executive director of the NAIOP Research Foundation. “Kate’s generous contribution, coupled with her industry knowledge and expertise, builds on the already powerful Foundation leadership.”
