NAIOP Appoints Diana M.L. Tucker as Vice President for Membership and Chapter Relations

NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, has named Diana M.L. Tucker, CAE, as vice president for membership and chapter relations. Tucker will join the association on June 4.

“Diana’s extensive experience in the association sector, coupled with her strong background in membership and chapter relations management, will have a great impact on NAIOP’s ability to attract and retain members while enhancing its robust North American chapter network,” said Thomas J. Bisacquino, president and CEO of NAIOP. “We are thrilled to have Diana join us, and I look forward to her collaborative approach in working with our 19,000 members in 51 chapters across North America.”

Prior to joining NAIOP, Tucker was vice president of membership and chapter relations at the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR), where she provided strategic and operational guidance to chapters and volunteer leaders and expanded chapters’ growth by 20 percent. She also served 10 years as executive director of the SIOR Foundation, where she executed two operational turnarounds and increased the Foundation’s revenue, programs and net assets.

Tucker earned the Certified Association Executive (CAE) certification in 2007. She serves as the 2018 Vice Chair and will serve as the 2019 Chair of the American Society of Association Executives CAE Exam Committee. She has also served on the planning committees for the first two annual association Component Exchange Conferences.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia.
