Layne Alfonso is Associate, Environmental Scientist with GeoEngineers, where he weaves together his environmental science and commercial real estate experience with his passion for community involvement and desire to connect clients with customized solutions to their business problems.
Two of Layne’s favorite aspects of working at GeoEngineers are its employee ownership model and the opportunity to work with talented staff throughout the Northwest. He also enjoys putting teams together for client projects and mentoring staff in developing their client and professional networks.
He is involved with professional associations dedicated to the commercial real estate industry and building livable communities. Layne cofounded the Washington State NAIOP Chapter’s South Sound Committee and is actively involved in many of their technical and educational programs. He also is involved with the Urban Land Institute on their Growing Cities Task
Force. While working with these and other community groups, Layne has forged working relationships with many decision makers in the development market. He likes staying abreast of what’s happening in the business community through his leadership positions in professional and community organizations.
