Inclusion in CRE Scholarship Programs

For Students and Young Professionals

         

NAIOP and Prologis are committed to the next generation of CRE leadership and promoting a culture of inclusion within the commercial real estate industry. We are proud to continue our scholarship programs for students pursuing a degree which will lead to a career in commercial real estate and rising CRE professionals beginning their career in the industry.

Individuals from groups underrepresented in the commercial real estate industry who have demonstrated leadership and responsibility are invited to apply for these programs.

Inclusion in CRE Scholarship for Students

Recipients will be awarded:

Requirements for application:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience and current employment in the real estate industry, including development, architecture, planning, government, transportation, engineering, finance, sustainability, and nonprofits.
  • Member of a group underrepresented in the commercial real estate industry.
  • Age 38 or younger.
  • Letter of recommendation - Sample letter.
  • Current resume.
  • Priority given to NAIOP members. Current Prologis employees are not eligible.

Inclusion in CRE Scholarship for Young Professionals

Recipients will be awarded:

  • Each recipient will receive one (1) complimentary registration to attend NAIOP’s CRE.Converge conference.
  • Personal press release announcing the scholarship recipient to their university.
  • Article featuring the scholarship recipients and their school in Development magazine (print and online).
  • Scholarship recipient’s profile on NAIOP website.

Requirements for application:

  • Applicants must be a student affiliated to a NAIOP University Member school in good standing; be enrolled in an applicable graduate or undergraduate program during the academic calendar year; and have a minimum 3.0 GPA (4.0 scale).
  • Preference will be given to students who have been traditionally under-represented in the commercial real estate field. Four $5,000 scholarships will be awarded to qualified graduate student applicants. Two $2,500 scholarships will be awarded to qualified undergraduate student applicants. All scholarship monies will be payable directly to the awardee’s university. Graduate students can also receive a travel stipend of up to $1,000 to attend CRE.Converge 2025.
  • Recipients of the NAIOP Diversity Scholarship will be selected based on the following:
    • Academic achievement.
    • Commitment to a career in commercial real estate.
    • Recommendation letter from CRE instructor or professor.
    • Financial need.
