As both a licensed architect and structural engineer in the state of California, Melissa Kroskey has a broad perspective on the industry as well as design expertise from seismic to hurricane regions. Over the past six years, she has led mass timber education for U.S. real estate developers and contributed to numerous publications for the wood industry, Morningstar, Urban Land Institute, and others. She has authored resources on topics ranging from the financial performance of mass timber to its role in healthy forests and wildfire resilience. More recently, she has been examining how mass timber can add value to warehouses and logistics facilities.
