As Bedrock’s Vice President of Acquisitions, Alex Vasileff leads the team responsible for property transactions in both Detroit and Cleveland. Alex and his team engage in every step of the process, from sourcing and valuation to disposition, for all property types including multifamily, office, retail, industrial, land, hotel and mixed-use.
Alex has more than ten years of experience in institutional commercial real estate focused on acquisitions. Throughout his career, he has closed on deals in excess of $3 billion.
Before returning to Michigan, he spent the majority of his career at Heitman in Chicago focusing on acquisitions and joint-venture structuring of mostly industrial, medical office, and self-storage properties and developments. Purchases or equity placements were done on the behalf of both co-mingled funds and separate account clients. Alex started his career at LaSalle Investment Management in Asset Management working for their value-add fund working concentrating on multifamily, office, and retail assets.
Alex graduated from the University of Michigan with a bachelor’s degree in economics and history.
