Tom Casey is co-founder and chief investment officer of CORE X Partners following a successful career as a business leader and entrepreneur. Founded in 2019, CORE X has become a leading cold storage acquisition platform with sixteen warehouses across the U.S. Prior to CORE X, Tom was co-founder, chief investment officer and CFO of Emergent Cold, which acquired seven companies and became the largest food cold storage company in Asia-Pacific. Prior roles include president and CEO of Wild Oats; president of American Apparel; and executive vice president and chief financial officer of Blockbuster. He served for 20 years as an investment banker at leading Wall Street firms including Deutsche Bank, Citigroup and Merrill Lynch. Tom holds a BS in ocean engineering from the United States Naval Academy, served as an officer on a nuclear submarine and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.
