Katie Zilka Hanson

Katie Zilka Hanson brings over 15 years of experience working in the sustainable built environment to her role with RE Tech Advisors, a LEGENCE Company. She supports client managers to design and deploy award winning sustainability programs that are data-driven and investors aligned. Zilka Hanson brings to her current role expertise in energy efficiency and demand management, as well as auditing, targeted outreach, and program design and implementation services. She’s built curriculum to train auditors, overseen the turnkey implementation of retrofits with fuel switching, and lead teams navigating community scale microgrid feasibility studies. She holds an MA in Sustainable Interior Environments from SUNY Fashion Institute of Technology and a bachelor’s in architecture from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She also maintains a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification from Association of Energy Engineers and a LEED AP with the US Green Building Council.
