Thomas J. Bisacquino served for 33 years as NAIOP Inc. President and CEO retiring in June of 2022. He was responsible for overseeing the strategic direction of the association, headquartered in Northern Virginia. Mr. Bisacquino directed NAIOP’s legislative activities on behalf of its membership in the federal, state, provincial and local arenas. Under his guidance and leadership, the headquarters staff served more than 20,000 members who are the developers, investors, and owners of industrial, office, retail, and multi-family properties throughout North America.
Mr. Bisacquino joined the association in 1988 as NAIOP's senior vice president and served as NAIOP’s chief operations officer. Prior to joining NAIOP, Mr. Bisacquino was the assistant executive director for the Association for Systems Management (ASM) in Cleveland, Ohio.
Raised in Westchester County, New York, Mr. Bisacquino earned both a B.S. and M.A. from the State University of New York. He is an active member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), and for 15 years served as a national board member of REAP, the Real Estate Associate Program, a non-profit association dedicated to training minorities for careers in commercial real estate. Mr. Bisacquino also served as liaison to AMPIP, a Mexican based trade association that represents the major developers, owners and investors of industrial commercial real estate throughout Mexico.
