Tony Burkart serves as head of market and economic development at Google, advising regional delivery and global infrastructure teams on economic development, public policy, and site selection best practices. Burkart’s guiding principle is creating win-win solutions for companies and governments across all levels. He leads discussions with state and local government agencies, regulatory, planning, permitting, and taxing authorities in support of infrastructure development teams. Burkart has over a decade of in-house economic development experience at Amazon Web Services, Lockheed Martin, and the State of Florida. He has led projects in Canada, France, the Middle East, and in Columbus, Ohio.
