Kathleen Barthmaier is an executive director in the investment department at W. P. Carey & Co. LLC. She works with private equity firms and companies, helping them create customized, flexible financing structures for leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, acquisitions and expansions. Ms. Barthmaier recently played a key role in W. P. Carey's $225 million purchase of 21 floors occupied by the New York Times in their 52-story Renzo Piano-designed Manhattan headquarters building. Ms. Barthmaier also focuses on Build-to-Suit transactions, providing capital to tenants and developers for the construction of new facilities or expansion of existing facilities.

D/P/S has been recognized locally as the 36th largest private sector business in Albuquerque and is nationally ranked as #130 in Architectural Record’s top architectural firms. Dekker has extensive experience in architecture and planning projects that are socially, economically and environmentally sustainable. He has contributed to high tech, one-of-a-kind research facilities for Sandia National Labs, award-winning school designs across the Southwest, and large-scale master plans, such as the UNM Master Plan Update. In addition to enhancing communities and quality of life through the built environment, Dekker also participates on a variety of boards and commissions dedicated to economic development, education, sustainability, and of particular interest to him, water and its use in the urban landscape. To support these endeavors, he has served as a member of the Customer Advisory Committee of the Albuquerque Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority and as a member of the working group that has developed the Rio Grande Water Fund a Comprehensive Plan for Wildfire and Water Source Protection, an effort spearheaded by The Nature Conservancy, as well as an Executive Committee member of Albuquerque Economic Development, the Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce, a National Board Member of NAIOP, and the Past-District Council Chair of the Urban Land Institute. He was appointed by Governor Susana Martinez to the State of New Mexico Workforce Solutions Workforce Development Board. He currently serves on the NAIOP Board of Governors, the Business Development Committee and the Industry Trends Task Force.

He was responsible for the leasing and marketing of the entire 4,500,000 square foot Tulsa office building and warehouse ownership portfolio. This portfolio included the 52-story BOK Tower (1.4 million square feet), Williams Towers I & II (770,000 square feet), Triad Center I and II, and many others. In 1992, Guild became the Director of Leasing over a 3,000,000 square foot real estate portfolio with Property Company of America.
